In June our Topical talk is Art History ‘The Impressionists’ Our speaker, Bernard Allen, will bring us a talk which is both interesting and visually stunning Wednesday 19 June 5 - 6.30 pm

It was not just how they painted, it was what they painted that was so revolutionary. By their last exhibition in 1886, the group had fallen apart and most of them had become very successful painters. Indeed they influenced succeeding generations of artists worldwide and today they are among our favourite artists.
